When I meet with potential clients, I usually bring along at least one full set of pictures from a wedding I've shot so they can see how I cover the event from start to finish. Some of my weddings have been with couples who live in other states but are marrying in Michigan, so they've done all their planning long distance via phone and internet. Some couples I don't even meet with until the day of the wedding. I'd love to be able to meet with every couple, but I know sometimes this isn't an option.
So for your convenience, here is a link to my proof site, where I have listed two weddings I photographed in the fall of 2006. Click on "Featured Wedding 1" or "Featured Wedding 2" on the right under Recent Events. Each wedding is broken down into categories, such as Getting Ready, Details, Ceremony, Posed pictures, etc. Makes it a little easier to see the pictures you are most interested in. Some people love the detail shots (I am one of them! It's one of my favorite parts of a wedding!), others are drawn to the real moments and the relationships I capture. I love them all! Everything from the bride getting her makeup done to the tossing of the bouquet. There are so many great things about weddings - the colors, the dresses, the flowers, but most of all the people - hugs, smiles, laughter, tears, pure joy! I love it!
