It's finally here! I've been working on redesigning my blog for a while now and it's pretty much ready!!!! There are still a few changes and updates to make, but I wanted to get it launched before wedding season kicks off for me this weekend.

SEPTEMBER 6, 2008 is AVAILABLE

I have turned a few couples away who inquired about this date and have now booked other photographers. :( If you are getting married on September 6th of this year, please contact me. I would like to fill this date, so I am offering the same pricing the first couple booked at (2007 pricing).

only a few more spots for 2008

Went through my calendar today updating things and I am almost completely booked for the year already! This is the fastest I have filled the calendar yet, which is exciting, but it means that I can't photograph many more of your weddings and I've had to turn some people away because I'm already booked for their dates. :(

I still have some dates open in August and September, so if you are getting married in either of those months and would like me to be your photographer, please contact me as soon as you can to reserve your date.

Also, for those of you getting married in 2009, the calendar is open and I am now accepting commissions for 2009 dates. I book anywhere from 6 months to a year or more in advance so don't hesitate to reserve your date now. And if you book your wedding photography now, you will lock in current 2008 pricing.

Congratulations to all those who were engaged over the holidays. My husband proposed to me on New Years Eve (many moons ago). ;) I love to hear how people got engaged, so feel free to share your stories in the comments below if you want.

We have a great respect for those who serve and protect our country. Our prayers are with all those fighting for us right now!!! and for the families they left behind. I spent the first year of my marriage away from my husband while he was in Bosnia, so I know what it feels like to be apart from the one you love. I worried about Jake at that time (even during a peace keeping mission), but I know it was nothing like the kind of worries people are facing today. God Bless our troops!!

fall sessions

Now is the time to schedule your pictures for this fall!
Outdoor sessions are very casual and relaxed, you being you at a favorite location - a beach, a park, your home, a place that you love. Sessions begin at $250 for an hour at one outdoor location (up to four people). Additional fees apply for travel, additional time, multiple locations and groups over four. A limited number of sessions are available this year, so contact us soon and we'll get you on the schedule.

Since the launch of my new site earlier this year, I've been working on coming up with a new logo design. I'm so excited to share the new look today!!!!

Hope you like it. I spent many hours trying to get it just right and it finally came together. I love how it turned out.

What is it? The grace ormonde Five Star Platinum List is a “by invitation only” listing directory of the most unique wedding professionals nationwide. And I am so honored to be included among them in 2007, one of only two photographers listed in Michigan. :)

new site design

So excited to launch my new site design today. I've worked very hard on it for the past month or so and did all the design myself. A long process, but I am happy with the results.
